Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra, often called “yogic sleep,” is a powerful practice of guided relaxation. Unlike regular sleep, where the mind drifts unconsciously, Yoga Nidra invites you to rest while staying gently aware. You lie down in a comfortable position, close your eyes, and are guided through breathing, body awareness, and visualization. The result is a state between wakefulness and sleep where the body deeply relaxes, and the mind becomes quiet and open.

This practice is more than simple rest. In Yoga Nidra, the nervous system slows down, stress is released, and the body can restore its natural balance. Many people report feeling as though they’ve slept for hours after just 20–30 minutes. Beyond relaxation, Yoga Nidra also helps reduce anxiety, improve sleep, and support emotional healing.

One special element of Yoga Nidra is the Sankalpa, or heartfelt intention. Because the subconscious mind is especially receptive during this practice, repeating a positive intention allows it to take root more deeply. Over time, these intentions can influence daily life, guiding you toward greater clarity, purpose, and inner peace.
